We are very good at what we do. Move Well Physiotherapists provide excellent patient care through high clinical and professional standards and exceptional customer service. Ongoing research into physiotherapy clinical practice and technology have facilitated significant advances in physiotherapy. Move Well Physiotherapists regularly update their knowledge and skills by attending group training sessions and attending courses accredited by the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Duncraig Physiotherapy & Pilates offer a variety of services so once we have assessed your problem we can identify the best way to solve it. No two problems are ever the same.
We are also a specialised Pilates Studio and have a physio onsite who specialises in the treatment of vertigo.

Move Well also offer a network of Move Well clinics collectively providing a comprehensive range of specialised physiotherapy services including manipulative therapy, sports physiotherapy, exercise prescription services, dry needling, hydrotherapy, occupational health services.

STAFF PROFILES

Emily Whiting

Physiotherapist

Emily is a partner at Warwick Physiotherapy and Duncraig Physiotherapy and Pilates, which has recently been added to Move Well’s group of practices. Emily completed her Physiotherapy course at Curtin University. She is working at Warwick Physiotherapy at the moment. Emily enjoys most sports, particularly swimming and has interests in the treatment of acute musculo-skeletal injuries and spinal pain.

Michelle MacSiomoin

Physiotherapist

    After graduating from the University of Limerick, Ireland with a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Science, Michelle completed her Master of Physiotherapy (graduate entry) at Curtin University of Technology. Since becoming a member of staff at Duncraig Physiotherapy, Michelle has developed a strong interest in injury rehabilitation through Pilates and has recently been certified as a Polestar Practitioner for Pilates rehabilitation. Clinically Michelle has a keen interest in low back pain and the treatment of all sporting injuries. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys running.

    Les Roberts

    Physiotherapist

      Les has worked in private practice since 1980. Before joining Duncraig, Les was owner operator of Seacrest Physiotherapy in Sorrento. His experience is extensive having worked with professional and amateur sporting clubs as well as local community groups. He is highly experienced in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of spinal conditions for all age groups and conditions. He also works closely with orthopaedic surgeons and their specific requirements for pre and post –op physio. Les remains very focussed on the profession and is always keen to see new clients.

      Fiona Trendos

      Neuro Physiotherapist

        Fiona Trendos at Neurolink Physiotherapy provides a dedicated vestibular rehabilitation service for individuals with dizziness, vertigo, balance and neurological disorders. Fiona has extensive clinical experience and advanced postgraduate training in Vestibular Rehabilitation. Fiona also utilises the latest Infrared Goggle technology to assist with diagnosis, treatment and streamlining referral where appropriate.
        Vestibular rehabilitation is an individually tailored exercise and education programme that attempts to retrain your brain to coordinate the inputs from the inner ear, visual and proprioceptive systems to regain your balance. Conditions treated include Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo, Vestibular Neuronitis and Labyrinthitis, Acoustic Neuroma, Meniere’s, Bilateral Vestibular Hypofunction, Vestibular Migraine, Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness & Central Disorders of Balance.

        Shelia Yu

        Physiotherapist

          Shelia completed her Masters (in physiotherapy) at Curtin University in 2005 after completing a Degree in Human Movement and Exercise Science at UWA in 2001. After graduation, with her experience in exercise and physiotherapy, she worked in private practise as a physio but was also employed as a tutor at UWA for the aerobics unit and as a lecturer and unit coordinator for the post graduate program in Exercise Physiology. She has completed 3 Pilates courses, her last one in 2017 and uses it in her treatment for rehabilitation. Clinically Shelia enjoys treating all musculoskeletal conditions especially low back pain and movement type injuries in knees or shoulders.
          Shelia is passionate about Health & Fitness and the physiological and psychological benefits of regular exercise and movement. She is interested in people and believes in being hands on when it comes to physiotherapy treatment. She loves the challenge of helping people get better but understands that sometimes rehabilitation can be slow and so strives to educate, inspire and motivate patients recovering from injury.
          She is also qualified in Level 1 Lymphoedema, Functional Training, Kinesiology Taping, run coaching and has been a Group Fitness Instructor (trained in 6 Les Mills Program) for the last 18 years. Shelia regularly exercises and works out at a gym and can therefore relate to common fitness-training injuries and have a sympathetic understanding of their effect.
          Outside of work, Shelia loves running, hanging out with her kids, gardening and baking.
