Good core strength is vitally important for hockey players as hockey involves a lot of rotation and transfer of energy and power through your torso as you push, hit, slap or tomahawk the ball.
A toned mid-section and a strong and stable core don’t just make you look and feel fitter but they are central to how we function. Developing a strong core will also help reduce unnecessary compression on your spine.
